Case Study: Diamo Powersports

Case As a boutique importer in the motorsports industry, Diamo felt distanced from their consumers and overshadowed by huge industry names such as Honda and Yamaha. Establishing a need for custom photography and smart ad placement to drive their marketing efforts, V2Works approached the situation with the experience needed to create a true branded library of image assets that could be leveraged across a wide range of advertising platforms. Strategy In the hugely competitive motorsports market, V2Works recognized the need to move away from simple product shots and towards a fully-realized lifestyle photo shoot. Providing casting services as well as location scouting, we brought in three models to showcase the product in a contextualized setting. Results We provided Diamo [...]

Case Study: The Napoleon Company

Case One of Seattle’s original family-owned and operated businesses, The Napoleon Company is a leading importer of gourmet foods in the US. Founded in 1903, the company has a richly storied past, but found their imagery to be lacking the professionalism and visual depth they needed when entering their second century of business. Strategy V2Works approached Napoleon’s photography with the attitude that cooking is art, and treated their subject as such. Using warm colors and organic, artistic staging, we created a comprehensive library of imagery that draws the viewer in and showcases their world-class products. Results Completely redefining the company’s visual impact in the imported foods marketplace, Napoleon’s new imagery was such a hit that they doubled the quantity [...]

Beauty and Functionality in Type

Type can get overlooked in design as being the unavoidable workhorse: something that is there to do a job and not look beautiful.
